Tours we could do together

Good walking shoes needed. Including : a former abattoir (now an old books fair), an abandonned railway, a church built like the Grand Palais, a tank providing water to the whole city, some typical streets far away from tourists, and a refreshing park to conclude.
Including : some areas where Paris give way to a village in the countryside, the most curious metro in Paris (ticket needed), the most beautiful & interesting park in Paris, and at last, a forgotten hill in the midst of the city.
Eventually, tour of some typical haussmannian private mansions (+12 or +9 euros pp. depending on the mansion). Including : some private mansions, a charming park, a chapel for a betrayed king, some hidden streets, the main "passageways" in Paris...
Including : Paris' botanical garden, unexpected sculptures, the heart of Paris' student life, some hidden streets, Roman arena, and at last, Paris' mosque.
Good walking shoes needed. A tour of a wonderful forgotten railway, currently a political issue, so choose it before it is too late ;)

Thomas was a perfect guide: he gave me a "Haussmann" tour showing me not only the buildings but he made the link to the periods before and after, showed me wehre the material for the building of the houses came from and gave me many insights into the history of France as well as into current political issues. He also showed me hidden gems (churches, parks, villas) that I would have never found myself. A fascinating, extremely interesting tour on which I didn't only learn a lot but which I enjoyed very much. I had a great time. Thank you Thomas!
